The Associated General Contractors of America said construction employment nationwide fell to its lowest level in June since 2001. The group blamed worker shortages in many parts of the country. According to a report from ADT, Florida added over 20,000 construction jobs in June, down only 5% from the same month a year ago. Economists say Florida’s economic recovery is still on track with job growth outpacing the nation’s.
